We were happy to have Julian give a presentation at Kwantlen in 2010 and now we’re thrilled that his Subtraction Cutting concept has been named #7 on the AW2012 and SS2013 Trend Predictions from Stylesight, a leading trend forecasting service. As reported by Nik Thakker, the spring inaugural AW12 and SS13 Megatrends Seminar in New York, listed Subtraction Cutting with its focus on the design of the pattern as the primary creative force, as one of the major directions in fashion right now. Julian’s book, Subtraction Cutting School explains it all. (reported on the Center for Pattern Design site)
